Quaternary Sanitiser Test Paper 0 - 400ppm (QT-10)

Hydrion QT-10 Quaternary Test Paper provides a simple, reliable, and economical means to measure the concentration of Quaternary Sanitisers, including n-alkyldimethylbenzyl and/or n-alkyl dimethyl ethyl benzyl ammonium chloride, and Rocall II.

With colour matches at 0-100-200-300-400ppm (parts per million), the test paper measures concentrations between 0-400ppm, detecting exhaustion of solutions that should be replaced as well as helping to avoid using excessive amounts of sanitizing agents.

Sanitising solutions should be between 150-400ppm

Users of Quaternary Sanitisers are expected to have on hand a test procedure to show that their solutions have the proper and effective concentrations required.

These kits will provide on-site and immediate verification of the strength of the sanitizing solution.

The quat testers will also detect exhaustion of solutions that should be replaced and will avoid the use of excessive and wasteful amounts of quat compound. QT Test Paper works best in non-alkaline quats.

Federal, State and Local health regulations require users of Quaternary Ammonium Sanitiser Solutions to have appropriate test kits available to verify the strength of sanitiser solutions.

Directions for use:

1. Tear off a strip about 1-2 inches in length.
2. The test solution should be between 18 degrees Celsius and 23 degrees Celsius.
3. Dip the strip into the sanitising solution for 10 seconds, then instantly match the resulting colour with the colour chart on the package which matches concentrations of 0-100-200-300-400ppm to determine the concentration.  These concentrations may vary depending on your specific application.
4. The minimum reading properly diluted Sanitising Solutions is 150 ppm. Acceptable Range: 150-400 ppm.
5. If reading is below 150 ppm, prepare a fresh sanitiser solution.
